The Prime Minister has announced on 11 October that Thailand will be reopened to travelers from low-risk countries who are fully vaccinated from 1 November 2021. The COVID-19 situation in Thailand is improving with an expansion of vaccine allocation and the Universal Prevention Measures that are being practiced nationwide to ensure everyone’s safety.
As of 15 October 2021, the proposal of the plan to reopen Thailand on 1 November 2021 is now being reviewed by the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) and the Ministry of Public Health. We will keep you informed as soon as official details become available.

In addition to the updated information above, we would like to share the latest announcement from the Immigration Bureau effective since October 6, 2021, onwards as follows:
Applicants/Prospects who hold the Special Tourist Visa (STV) can be changed to a Thailand Elite visa without departing from Thailand.
Applicants/Prospects who hold the Non-Immigrant type O (Volunteer) will not be accepted and cannot be changed to a Thailand Elite visa without departing from Thailand.
Applicants/Prospects who hold the Non-Immigrant MT (Medical Treatment)* will not be accepted or changed to a Thailand Elite visa without having related medical treatment documents such as the patient reports from the hospital, a medical certificate, etc.
Applicants/Prospects who hold the Non-Immigrant ED (Education)* will not be accepted or changed to a Thailand Elite visa without an official document from the Office of Basic Educational Commission: OBEC
