The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced a deal that will bring more Americans to Thailand.

Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said that the state-sponsored event titled “Feel Thailand” with Korean Air and Delta Air Lines would take 50 US-based tour companies to well-known tourist attractions in Thailand to boost tourism.

“As winter starts in places like the US, this is a great time to reintroduce all the amazing things Thailand has to offer. Now that Thailand is completely open to tourists, we would like to show the new and old things our country has and create a memorable holiday vacation.”

“This trip is a part of our effort to encourage people from all 50 US states to visit Thailand, which will help us reach our goal of earning THB 1.5 trillion baht from tourism on the global market by 2023.”

Delta Air Lines and Korean Air are joining forces with TAT to make it easier to get from the US to Thailand. The Delta-Korean Air trans-Pacific partnership lets people from 17 US cities fly to Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.

Feel Thailand launchedTravelers from the United States and other countries will be happy to hear that Thailand no longer needs Antigen proof of vaccination or an ATK test result. Also, from now until March 31, 2023, tourists from countries that do not require a visa can stay in Thailand for 45 days instead of 30, and those who can get a Visa on Arrival can stay for 30 days instead of 15.

For those who want to stay in Thailand for at least 5 years, Thailand currently offers Thailand Elite Visa.  This multiple-entry visa has been created to make a long-term stay in Thailand hassle-free and convenient. For more information CLICK HERE.

This year, TAT believes that up to 10 million people from other countries will come to visit. As of October 26, TAT announced that the kingdom is only 3 million visitors away from reaching its goal of 10 million visitors.

TAT is optimistic that it will reach this goal by the end of 2023.
