Gold Membership FAQs
Who is eligible for the Gold Membership?
Any foreign national can apply, with no minimum age and no minimum Thai bank balance. Every applicant must pass a background check by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. and Thai immigration.
Will Gold become the entry-level membership?
Yes. When Bronze closes to new applicants on 31 December 2026, Gold (THB 900,000) becomes the entry-level Thailand Privilege membership. Gold already includes 20 Privilege Points per year, which Bronze does not.
What can I use Gold Privilege Points for?
Gold members receive 20 Privilege Points each year. Points can be redeemed for government liaison services, hotel nights, airport transfers and lounges, golf, spa, health checks, seminars and the 90-day report service.
Can I upgrade a Gold Membership?
Yes. Gold can be upgraded to a higher Thailand Privilege membership under Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. conditions. Gold cannot be transferred to another person.
How long does the Gold application take?
