Greetings from Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd.
We would like to keep you updated on our latest services for August 2022 which are as follows;
Update on Airport Services
With the Thailand Pass System being removed from Thailand’s entry regulations on 1 July 2022, we would like to update you on the latest information on our airport services which are as follows:
1. The Cancellation of TM6 Card
On 1 July 2022, the Thai cabinet announced in the Royal Gazette the cancellation of the Arrival/Departure Card (TM6 card) for travelers coming to Thailand by Air.
For members who arrive in Thailand by air after 1 July 2022 and did not receive a TM6 card, you can leave the TM6 number blank when doing a TM30 report online or through the Section38 application.
For members who arrived in Thailand on or before 1 July 2022 and were given a TM6 card upon arrival, you will still be required to input your TM6 number when doing a TM30 report online or through Section38 application as usual. You are humbly advised to keep your TM6 card with you at all times as usual.
2. Updated baggage policy for International Arrival Passengers
In compliance with the standard of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and other related laws, the Airports of Thailand (AOT) has intensified their baggage policy for international passengers to take care of their own baggage when passing through customs.
Passengers Arrival/Arriving Passenger must fill in the declaration form and give it to the customs officers. Passengers without items to declare can proceed to the green lane with the “Nothing to Declare” sign, but passengers with items to declare must proceed to the red lane with the “Things to Declare” sign, together with the declaration form which is completely filled in. If prohibited items are found, customs officers will confiscate those items and passengers will be fined four times that item’s price.
With the above policy, Thailand Privilege Card would like to inform our members who enter Thailand through airports under the supervision of AOT to take care of your own baggage when passing the custom checkpoints. For Suvarnabhumi Airport, members are humbly requested to identify your baggage at the conveyor belt, so that our porter can help you with your baggage. However, our Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) and porter will be unable to take your baggage through customs without your presence. Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences this may cause you.
Kindly be reminded that our EPA Service and porter service are reserved for members who have made an advance reservation only. Please contact our Member Contact Center at +662-352-3000 or [email protected] to provide your arrival flight details no less than 24 hours in advance to enjoy our welcome services by EPA and porter at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
