By the end of 2022, Air Canada will provide direct service flights between North America and Thailand and it is scheduled 4 times per week between December and April 2023.  The Air Canada Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will fly directly between Vancouver and Bangkok and it is the first direct flight between North America and Thailand in the last decade.

Air Canada will travel between Vancouver International Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These seasonal flights will operate starting December 4, 2022, to April 14, 2023. The airline company added that there are 3 cabins on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.  These are the Signature Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

The flight from Vancouver to Bangkok departs at 11 pm and arrives at 5:55 am. On the other hand, the flight from Bangkok to Vancouver will depart at 8:30 am and arrive at 6:35 am.  Both flights are scheduled to arrive early in the morning to provide passengers with the most options for same-day connecting flights.

Since existing flights between North America and Thailand involve a stopover in East Asia, either at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport or one of Tokyo’s two international airports, the new route is anticipated to be an excellent addition for travelers.

Since Thai Airways cease direct service between Los Angeles International Airport and Bangkok in 2012, this is the first non-stop route between North America and Thailand. Between 2005 and 2008, Thai Airways also provided direct service between John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City and Bangkok.

Between October 29, 2022, and March 26, 2023, the airline will start daily service between Toronto and Mumbai through London Heathrow Airport. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner will also have routes between Toronto and Mumbai. This winter, the airline will add its services in India, Australia, New Zealand, and Peru.

Tickets may now be purchased through the Air Canada website, the Air Canada mobile app, and travel agencies.
